About Amber Kostelny

Owner & Certified Professional Organizer ®

Amber has been serving the Chicago area as a professional organizer since January 2004. She passed the certification exam for the organizing industry as a Certified Professional Organizer® in 2008 and also completed the NAPO Specialist Certificates in Residential Organizing and Workplace Productivity. She especially enjoys working one on one with clients to customize their organizing solutions and systems. Seeing clients through an overwhelming project, helping them tackle difficult spaces and creating productive work spaces is very rewarding to her. Amber is a Golden Circle member of the National Association of Professional Organizers as well as local member of the Chicago chapter.

Organizing clients’ personal finances and small business bookkeeping is also part of the organizing services Amber offers. After becoming a Crown Money Life Mentor with Crown Financial Ministries in 2012, Amber started taking more courses and received training in QuickBooks and Quicken finance software. In 2016 she became certified as a Quickbooks Online ProAdvisor and then launched Amber’s Bookkeeping, LLC in 2017. 

On a more personal note, Amber earned her B.A. in international business at Taylor University in Indiana. She currently resides on the northwest side of the city of Chicago. When she’s not organizing she enjoys competing in triathlons, dancing the country two step, cooking and traveling.


Our Organizers

Although Amber still organizes and books clients, business can be very busy during certain seasons, so Amber uses organizers to help her service clients. All of them come highly qualified, trained, and experienced and carry liability insurance. During some organizing projects, such as unpacking a home or tackling a very large area, a team of organizers is necessary.

    We transform and declutter any part of your home, condo, or apartment by working with you to create effective systems and organizing solutions. All areas of your home: closets, kitchens, paper, basements, garages, toys, and bedrooms can be organized.

  • Unpacking and Relocations

    Our packing and unpacking services reduce stress during your move. We can get your things streamlined, downsized and packed before you move and/or get you settled quickly by unpacking all your boxes once you are in your new home.

  • Home Office Organizing

    If you work from home or keep track of your family’s paperwork, you will benefit from our home office organizing systems and solutions. We tackle daily paperwork, bills, memorabilia, photos, home renovation projects, and filing systems.

  • Financial Organizing

    We assist busy families and single parents organize finances and track spending. We can help you pay bills on time, set up autopay and paperless settings, track your spending in software, and even implement a budget.
