Yes, being an organized gift giver pays off. Here’s some Christmas shopping tips to help you stick within budget and get all the shopping done before the BIG DAY:
- Make a list of everyone you must buy for. Stick to your list when shopping.
- Clip and collect store coupons that come in the Sunday newspaper. These can save you a lot of money on Black Friday.
- Flip through catalogs before going to bed or in front of the TV. Shopping online saves time and energy.
- 4. Collect gift receipts in an envelope or fille folder and label it 2009 Christmas Receipts. If a return has to be made, you’re all ready.
- Block off time on your calendar to go shopping. Ideally try to hit the stores early on weekends or in the middle of the week in the middle of the day.
- If you stumble upon a sale for general gifts such as chocolates, candles, etc. pick up a few extra for holiday housewarming gifts.
Happy Shopping! If you have more tips, please share them with us!
