Buying In Bulk

Buying in bulk- when does it make sense?

-if you have a family of 4 or more

-if you are buying paper goods- toliet paper, paper towels, etc.

-if you have enough SPACE to store the bulk items

-if you know your family likes and consumes that product/brand. Don’t take chances. Only buy what you absolutely know they’ll eat up or use up.

Items to skip, when buying in bulk...

-medicine. They’ll expire too fast if you don’t use them up fast enough. You never know how healthy or how sick you’ll be. So instead of stuffing the linen closet or medicine cabinet, buy things as you need them.

-fresh produce. Unless your family loves fruits and veggies and eats them daily,  skip buying in bulk. They’ll spoil too fast.

-Condiments. Buying the oversize jars or jugs takes up way too much space in the refrigerator door. My rule of thumb is when the refrigerator door is full that’s all the condiments I’m allowed.

What do you think is worth buying in bulk? What do you pass by?
