Electronics Recycling

Over the weekend I went to the local computer recycling event here in Park Ridge, IL. All week I had loaded my car full of electronics from clients. So Saturday I pulled up to the parking lot and to my surprise there were lines of cars all waiting to drop off old electronics. As the volunteer team unloaded my car, I saw the piles and stacks of old computers, dvd players, etc and couldn’t believe how much waste would have been dumped in our landfills had this recycling event hadn’t taken place. My heart really was encouraged to see the community care. I encourage you participate in your local area recycling days and spread the word. Quite often people don’t realize opportunities like this that are right in their back yard. Two thumbs up to Park Ridge!
