Leave Behind Less

As I was reading through my daily blogs that I follow I came across an interesting blog posting that I wholeheartedly agree with and want to reiterate how important this topic really is. www.becomingminimalist.com expressed on this blog post http://www.becomingminimalist.com/2009/05/07/benefit-18-less-work-for-someone-else/  how important it is to think through what you’re leaving behind. I’m reminded of so many clients that are faced with this tough job of going through their parents things after the have passed. It is an overwhelming, heart wrenching task that I wish we could elimimate. You can do your part to help your family- start now. Decide to leave them with as little stuff as possible and as little paperwork as possible. Get your wills, trusts, estate papers all in order and then start to declutter. This is one of the best gifts you can give your children. They will appreciate it more than you can imagine.
