My Holiday Weekend To Do List

It’s the last evening of the long holiday weekend and I’m happy and relieved to say I got my whole to do list done! It pays to write a to do list because it helps keep you focused and productive. As my husband and I drove to dinner tonight we listed every single thing we got done and we are thrilled with the results! 

Saturday: Cut the lawn, weeded flower beds, trimmed bushes, planted perennial seeds, did 3 loads of wash, made a quick Home Depot trip, met friends for lunch, went to the nursery, bought vegetable plants and 2 raspberry bushes, went to church, grilled with friends for dinner, made s’mores in our fire pit for the first time this season

Sunday: made another quick Home Depot trip, potted and planted some flowers, planned garden layout, planted all the vegetables and bushes, fixed clogged pipes in the house, finished my painting project-2 doors, 6 door frames (the trim inside and out), cleaned the house (including the hardwood floors), had my parents over for pizza, visited my grandparents

Monday: swept out and organized the garage, staged the garage for next weekend’s family garage sale, organized the basement, swept the basement, bleached/scrubbed the entire basement floor (I love the smell of Clorox bleach!), finished garage sale preparations

Needless to say, it was not a relaxing weekend but a very productive weekend and well worth it! What did you do this weekend?
