A Very Good Friday

I normally never ever write personal comments or beliefs on my blog, but when it comes to national holidays, I’m going to break my rules. So if you don’t want to read about my personal beliefs skip this blog today. I’ll catch you next time. The Easter season is so much more than the Easter bunny and chocolate eggs. The greatest love of all time was demonstrated to all mankind on this holiday. That is why we celebrate.

Five Reasons Why Good Friday is Very Good!

God the Father, gave us His Son Jesus Christ. (Ephesians 2:8-9)

Jesus Christ willingly took on human flesh and left His Father’s side to come to earth for us. (John 1:14)

Jesus paid for our sins by dying on the cross. (Isaiah 53:5-6)

He conquered sin and death when he rose again. (Romans 6:9-10)

Anyone can have new life, eternal life in Him if we believe He did this for us.  (John 3:16)

Why do you celebrate Good Friday/Easter? How does your family celebrate?
