Organizing Coffee
Topics
Keurig Coffee Makers were the rage about a year and a half ago and my husband and I fell for the advertising and bought one two Christmases ago. Surprisingly enough, we love it and it was the best money we ever spent. It works for us because we don’t drink lots and lots of coffee each morning-just a cup or two.
This is the kitchen cabinet where I store all my K-cups. Each morning I would open it up and get annoyed with how it looked. Annoyed that I couldn’t find anything. Annoyed with the wasted space. And finally, annoyed with the K-cup packaging creators who didn’t take into account the size of a normal kitchen cabinet. Their boxes are not stackable and too tall. Anyways, I went on a mission to organize my coffee cabinet. First, I measured the height, width, and depth of my cabinet. Then I went to the internet to fit the right container. I found just the right size and ordered four of them. My intentions were to stack two on two shelves because we usually buy four boxes at one time. Next I started organizing. That was the easy part. Five minutes later I was pleased with the results. Each container has it’s own label and if we buy a different flavor next time, I’ll swap out the label off the box.
