Keeping Cleaning Simple
Topics
When it comes to cleaning, I keep it super simple and stick to my favorites. I rarely venture out with new cleaning products and normally don’t stock up. When I run out, I buy another bottle. This helps with not using up to much space under all my sinks. My husband and I also use having guests over as our incentive to clean. We are intentional with having people over about twice a month so that we do our cleaning every two weeks or so. I don’t love to clean, like I love to organize; but I do love the feel of a clean house, so to me it’s worth the effort.
You may be blessed to have a cleaning company clean your home. If so, make it simple for them. If they don’t bring in the cleaning products consider just a few basic cleaning products for them to use. These are my favorite cleaning products by room and these are really all I keep on hand.
Bathrooms:
- Stone cleaner
- Lysol toliet bowl cleaner
- Clorox wipes
- Windex
Kitchen:
- Stainless steel cleaner
- Granite cleaner and polish
- Hardwood floor cleaner- I love my Hoover Floormate. I never have to use a bucket and mop!
General:
- Pledge multi surface- it works on anything and safe for everything. I use it to dust mainly.
- Lysol general cleaner-for random accidents or wiping down household items or appliances
Must-Have Specialty Products:
- QuickShine- shines clean floors in an instant. One of my clients acutally told my about this product. What a great recommendation!
- Magic Erasers-takes care of any mark on the walls
What about you? Would you rather clearn or organize? Got a favorite cleaning product? Tell us about it!
