Organizing Hanging Clothes

Division Garment Organizers

In my opinion, there’s really only three ways to hang and divide clothes in a closet. The first is by season. Here in the midwest, it would make sense to sort out clothing by season. I find this is the hardest system to maintain though. Clothes are easily mixed by accident and maintaining the seasonal categories requires a greater effort. Then there’s the most common way which is by clothing type... so blouses, skirts, pants, etc. That’s a no brainer when you’re putting clothes away. Dresses go wtih dresses and sweaters go with sweaters, etc. And finally probably the least used method would be organizing clothes by outfit. My mom happens to fit into this category. I don’t understand it and I wouldn’t choose it for myself but for her, it works.

These division garment organizers can be custom labeled to divide your clothes. What do you think of them? Would you use them?  Please share with us how you divide your hanging clothes. Do you think these would help keep you organized?
