Time to Switch Things Over to Summer Mode
You’re not alone, if you haven’t cleaned out the coat closet or mudroom to make room for summer. Scarves, mittens and hats are still floating around and it’s June. This mom was very organized and made this spare bedroom closet into her off season mudroom. Instead of having everything clutter up the mudroom, she shifted things here.
- We organized coats by size so the younger ones can easily access the hand me down coats.
- We organized all the hats, mittens, and scarves by pitching all the mismatched ones and grouping them in clear mesh organizing cubes.
- We transferred all the coats onto coat hangers or white tube hangers. All the wire hangers from the dry cleaners weren’t sturdy enough for heavy coats.
- All the snow pants and boots were put in stackable bins on the floor for more floor space.
A few added bells and whistles and this is one organized mom of four!
